Scholarship program for girl students by Mahatma Gandhi University

Mahatma Gandhi University, Shillong, Meghalaya, has launched a scholarship Program for Girl students in Delhi with the objective:

Educate a man, you educate a person;
Educate a women, you educate a family.

So, to fulfill the dream of education for women Mahatma Gandhi University has launched a 100% scholarship program for girl candidates in order to empower status of women in the society.

• Course of Study: Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)
• Duration of course: Six Semesters (3 years)
• No of seats: 100
• Last Date to apply: 31st July, 2011
• Eligibility criteria:

1. Minimum qualification required is 10+2 (in any stream)
2. Only girl candidates will be eligible in this category.
3. Preference will be given to candidates, whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2,50,000/- p.a. belonging to any category (Gen / SC/ ST/ OBC etc.)
4. Candidates can apply through our Online website www.mgu.edu.in

• Selection Criteria: Candidate will be selected based upon interviews.
• Scholarship value: Registration fee to apply this Scholarship Program is Rs.100/- only.

Successful candidates under this scholarship program will be fully exempted from course fees & will also be provided books/ stationery etc.
